"M" sugar cookies for 8th graders

Maywood PTSA is looking for a couple of bakers to help make "M" sugar cookies for 8th graders at the end of the sports season.  Mr. and Mrs. Eggers started an amazing tradition of baking Cookies for the 8th graders that participated for their final sports season at Maywood.  Mr. Eggers retired last year but we would love to continue this year's old tradition to honor him.

The cookies will need to be circle sugar cookies with "M '' frosted on to in school colors similar to the photo. Due to COVID they must be individually bagged (bags will be provided)

If you're interested please contact president@maywoodptsa.org
The first batch will be due October 20th with a total of 62 cookies.

Monster Mash 5K on Saturday, October 30!

Registration is now open for a new event that we’re excited about this year: the Monster Mash 5k. Please share the below blurb with your school community and consider signing up today!
Help us raise a monstrous amount of support for local students by joining us – in-person or virtually – on Saturday, October 30th, for the Issaquah Schools Foundation’s Monster Mash 5K!

Hosted at Lake Sammamish State Park Boat Launch, this professionally chip-timed 5K route along East Lake Sammamish Trail is paved, fast, and flat. Phased start-times, masking requirements, and a virtual race option aim to create a space and place for all to participate.

Costumes and festive holiday wear are encouraged, and those who choose to dress to impress will be entered into a raffle for gift cards to local restaurants and stores! 100% of all proceeds go to support local students via the Issaquah Schools. Register today!  We want to keep the number limited so we can provide this race in a safe manner, so please make sure everyone who plans to attend and/or participate in the race is registered.
