Save the Date and Encourage Your Middle Schoolers to Sign Up!
We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting Multicultural Night at Maywood Middle School on Tuesday, April 28th, at 6:30pm!
We are looking for student participation — and we would love parents’ support! This is an excellent opportunity for your children to learn more about their family history, and then share that with us! Students have a Sign Up form in their Canvas and they can sign up until March 24th!
Your family may have food or traditions meaningful to you, and we’d love your middle schooler to share them. We are thrilled if students want to collaborate with friends or family members on the presentation. There are many ways they can choose to share their culture - food, drinks, dance, music, clothing/fashion, arts/crafts, poster/display board, game or activity, slide for our slide show, short video, traditional items, décor display, holidays observation, etc.
This event is also an exciting opportunity to learn about different cultures! Please encourage your middle schoolers to participate and we can celebrate what makes our school community unique! Save the date!
The Maywood PTSA Nominating Committee hereby places the following names into nomination:
For the office of President: Nicole Jacobs
For the office of Vice President: OPEN
For the office of Secretary: Lena Wiegering
For the office of Treasurer: OPEN
The Nominating Committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of a PTSA for at least
15 days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws. The
incoming Board of Directors will be elected at the next PTSA General Membership Meeting on April
22, 2026.

Join the Maywood table at the Issaquah School Foundation's annual Nourish Every Mind luncheon on Thursday, April 30th at the Issaquah Community Center. The lunch and program will be from 12-1 and will feature students and teachers talking about how they have been positively and profoundly impacted by grants and programs funded by ISF.
