Once known as Maywood Junior High School, Maywood Middle School opened in 1969.
Today’s Maywood students come from the following Issaquah Elementary Schools:
They enter Maywood as 6th graders for three years in a school known for its parent involvement, focus on high standards, and quality preparation for high school learning at Liberty High School.
Maywood starts classes late on Wednesdays to facilitate staff collaboration.
