STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
May 7th - 11th is Staff Appreciation Week. Here is the schedule of treats we have for our wonderful Maywood staff.

6th GRADE FIELD DAY: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Our Annual 6th Grade Field Day is June 15th from 11:30 – 2:00 and students are very excited to participate in this fun filled event that honors the efforts of our students. In order for this event to be a success, we need you! Volunteers (approx. 50) are needed from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm to help set up event boots, run games, supervise, and to help clean-up. If you are interested please e-mail hanson.elaine@comcast.net and Elaine Hanson will add you to our volunteer list.

MAYWOOD PTSA MISSION
It is the mission of the Maywood PTSA to engage our students academically and to build a strong and supportive community.
MAYWOOD PTSA GOALS
1) To achieve 100% Membership
2) To improve/increase parent participation in PTSA sponsored programs and events
3) To reduce the use of paper by sending our information packet electronically and making it available on the Maywood PTSA website
4) To maintain a consistent number of Walk About volunteers throughout the school year
5) Increase “Pass the Hat” fundraising participation to offset the need for additional fundraising
